We'll be doing a dark granite on the perimeter, it's called Antique Brown and it will be Honed which means it's matte.
Here's a picture, not the greatest but hopefully I can get a better one when I go back to the granite yard.
The island will have a lighter granite called New Azul Aran
here are a few pics of some slabs they had, I'll go back this week to pick our slabs (it will take 2 or the massive island.
We are making progress, bought some boxes to start boxing up all the stuff (not looking forward to that..) We won't be there the weekend before they start so we need to get going on packing we only have 6 weekends since they start demolishing the kitchen.
Still need to pick the backsplash, I'll wait to do that until we get our sample door and hopefully some pieces of granite so we can come up with something that matches perfectly!
