Been a while! Here's a preview, not done yet but very close!

We need to finish the paint and then it will be done!  Probably tomorrow, then you will get the full reveal..

Just had to say, WE LOVE IT!

Today was the granite install! Oops they didn't both get installed...

Everything was going to plan until I realized one of the pieces of the Bianco Antico wasn't quite right.. Oops they had forgotten the overhang on the end.. Back to the shop that went :( They did install the Oh so beautiful Antique Brown in a leathered finish.. It's amazing, from afar it look dark brown, from close, it's full of light and shades that make it so interesting.  Here is a look at it, the pics don't do it justice, hopefully on a sunny day I'll be able to get a better pic.

Making progress on the cabinets

Putting the finishing touches on the cabinets, tomorrow the granite gets installed, I'm so excited!

Cabinets are really taking shape!

It's starting to look like a kitchen!  They finished hanging the uppers and put down the island so we could see what it will somewhat look like.   LOTs more work needs to happen but this is really exciting!

We can move back into most of the 1st floor too, really happy about that!

The cabinet installation has begun!

The white cabinets are about 1/2 installed, so beautiful!  I'm not going to show you the insides until everything is installed (pulls too) to keep some element of surprise but here are the cabinets in process of being installed.  They already make the kitchen look bigger, so cool! 

All the cabinets have been delivered, they are sitting in the living room waiting to be installed.  It should all be done by Monday for the granite template.

the worse is over! We have stained and poly'd floors!

We can finally walk on our floors after one week of walking outside (mostly) in the rain.. That was the worst part of the project.

Now the fun starts!  The floors are absolutely gorgeous, the dark Antique brown stain updates the dated builder grade floors. 

Today we got our first delivery of cabinets from Signature, they are the white ones that go on the perimeter, they look fantastic!  I'll give you a preview in the pics below.  The walnut ones will come tomorrow and they will spend the rest of the week installing all of them. 

Very excited about the corner cabinet, so much better than the lazy susan we used to have!

Day 1 & 2: Sanding the floors!
